Winter jacket order timeline: when to order for November and December
Every fall the same thing happens: jackets are needed the first cold week, and the order starts the second. Battle Born Clothing runs a 28-day standard turnaround from proof approval. Here is how to count back from your date.
The steps and how long each takes

Add it up: from first email to jackets in hand is about five to six weeks if you move quickly on the size list, and seven or eight if you do not.

Why fall orders slip
- The size list. It is the step most often waiting on the buyer. Start it the day you request the quote.
- Blank stock. Popular colors in popular sizes (black and navy in L through 2XL) sell down at suppliers in October and November. We check stock before you approve and suggest an alternate color if needed.
- Premium brands. Carhartt, OGIO, Eddie Bauer and The North Face are quoted per job and can have longer supplier lead times in season.
- Artwork. A logo that arrives as a low-resolution JPEG needs redrawing before digitizing. Send vector.
What to have ready on day one
- Logo as a vector file (AI, EPS, PDF, SVG) or a clean 300 dpi PNG.
- Jacket style and color decided, or two options you would accept if the first is out of stock in your sizes.
- A rough quantity. The exact size list can follow, but the quantity sets the price tier.
- The date the jackets must be in hand, and the ship-to address.
- A decision on extras: back text, names, a second logo. Each adds a proof cycle if it is added later.

If you are already late
Say so on the quote form. Rush is quoted per job, and whether it is possible depends on blank stock and what is already on the machines. A smaller first run of the most urgent pieces, with the rest on standard turnaround, is often the practical answer. We will tell you honestly what we can do by your date.
Order the spring jacket in winter
Windbreakers (Sport-Tek JST73, Independent EXP54LWZ) and rain shells are needed in March and April. Ordering them in January means no squeeze and the same logo file we already have on hand.

28 days is standard. Faster is quoted per job and depends on blank availability and shop load. Ask; sometimes it is easy, sometimes it is not.
Does the 28 days include shipping?
No. Add ground shipping time from Yerington, Nevada: one to five business days in the continental US.
Can you hold an order and ship it on a date?
