Custom embroidered jacket pricing
All-in means blank plus left-chest embroidery per piece. One-time digitizing is $18.99 per design. The table is for the Port Authority J317 soft shell, our most-ordered jacket; other blanks follow the same embroidery matrix with their own blank price, and premium brands are quoted per job. Same logo, same order: every style counts toward the same price break. Battle Born Clothing quotes every order from real supplier cost, usually the same business day.

Every embroidery price covers one design up to 6,000 stitches. Above that, each additional 1,000 stitches adds $2.00 (1-11 pcs), $1.50 (12-23), $1.00 (24-59), $0.60 (60-79) or $0.50 (80+) per piece, rounded up to the next 1,000; we tell you the exact count with the proof. A typical left-chest logo runs 4,000 to 7,000 stitches; we tell you the count when we digitize. Large back designs are always quoted; see back embroidery.

Jackets quoted per job
Port Authority J333 Torrent, F226, J903, J7710 and J709; Eddie Bauer EB530 and EB534; OGIO OG740; Carhartt CT104277 and CT102208; The North Face NF0A3LH4; Sport-Tek JST73; Independent EXP54LWZ; and all hi-vis or FR garments. Their blank prices move with supplier cost and some brands set minimum advertised prices, so we quote them from live cost the day you ask. The embroidery matrix above still applies.
Stitch count and price
Every embroidery price on this site covers one design up to 6,000 stitches. Above that, each additional 1,000 stitches adds $2.00 (1-11 pieces), $1.50 (12-23), $1.00 (24-59), $0.60 (60-79) or $0.50 (80+) per piece. Partial thousands round up to the next 1,000. We digitize your art first and tell you the exact count with the proof, so there are no surprises on the invoice. Embroidery quantity breaks are at 12, 24, 48, 60 and 80 pieces.

Why it works this way: machine time is stitches. A 12,000-stitch logo runs twice as long as a 6,000-stitch one, and the overage rate drops at the same quantity breaks as the base rate. Most left-chest and cap logos land between 4,000 and 7,000 stitches; large back designs and dense fills are where the count climbs. If your logo comes in high, we can often simplify the fill or reduce the size to bring it under 6,000.
One-time fees
- Embroidery digitizing: $18.99 per design, standard 2-day. Paid once; reorders use the same file.
- DTF transfers: quoted per job by print size and quantity. No screen fees.
- Screen printing (rare on jackets): $20 per screen per color, plus $0.25 flash per piece on dark garments.
Add-ons
- Second embroidery location (back, sleeve, opposite chest): quoted per design, plus $18.99 digitizing for the second file.
- Individual names or titles: quoted per job.
- Large back embroidery over 6,000 stitches: $1.50 per additional 1,000 stitches per piece.
- 2XL and larger: supplier upcharge of about $1 to $7 per piece depending on size and style; shown on your quote.
- Women's and tall cuts where the manufacturer makes them: same tier, same logo file.
Customer-supplied jackets
Bring your own jackets and pay $2 per item handling plus the embroidery matrix: $8.00 per piece at 12-47, $7.50 at 48-59, $6.50 at 60-79, $6.00 at 80+, plus $18.99 digitizing. The industry-standard ~4% spoilage allowance applies; we aim for zero.
Rush
Standard is 28 days from proof approval. Rush is quoted per job and depends on blank stock and shop load. Put your date on the quote form.

Mixed orders count the embroidery tier across every piece with the same logo. 30 J317 jackets plus 30 F226 vests with one logo is a 60-piece tier at $5.50 for all of them.
